Claiming
Claiming your page
For entertainers and businesses whose page is already on DO868: how to claim it, what we check, and what happens next.
Organizers often add the entertainers on their line-ups, and DO868 lists some businesses itself, so your page may already be on DO868 before you sign up. If it is, claim it rather than making a new one: you keep its followers and the events it's on.
Businesses: on the sign-up page, choose I run a place or a business people visit or book and your kind of business. A business with no place of its own finds its page under Is your business already on DO868? Find it and presses This is mine. A bar or other place that DO868 shows as part of a business page is found under Is your place already on DO868?: claiming it claims that page. The steps below are the same. See Signing up a business.
Claiming when you sign up
- On the sign-up page, choose I perform, then what kind of entertainer you are.
- Under Is your page already on DO868?, search for your stage name or band name and choose This is me on your page. (A page marked Already has an owner can't be claimed.)
- Tell us How can we check it's you?: your Instagram handle, or a link to your page or website. We may message you there to confirm. Add anything else we should know, such as who manages your bookings.
- Create your account with Create account and send claim.
If you follow a Claim this page link from your page on do868.com, the sign-up form starts with your page already chosen. If you're already signed in to the portal without a page, you can claim from the Dashboard instead.
If your page isn't there, choose No, create my page.
While we check
Your Dashboard shows your claim as being reviewed. Our team checks that the page is yours, using what you told us, and may contact you to confirm. You must confirm your email first: a claim made at sign-up waits until you do.
You can have one claim waiting at a time, and you can Withdraw this claim while it's waiting.
When it's decided
We email you either way.
- Approved: the page is yours. Edit it, list your events, and see your followers and stats in the portal.
- Not approved: the Dashboard shows the team's note. You can claim it again with more details, claim a different page, or create your own page.
If another account's claim for the same page is approved first, yours is closed and we email you. If you think the page is yours, reply to that email.
A page that already has an owner
If your page already has an owner on DO868 and it's yours, write to [email protected] and we'll sort it out.
Each account runs one page. Organizer pages can't be claimed this way; get in touch if someone else has set up your organizer page.
