Review and publishing
Review and publishing
Drafts, sending an event for review, what review means, editing a live event, and how trusted organizers publish directly.
Why events are reviewed
Before an organizer's events go on do868.com without a check, someone on the DO868 team looks at them. Review is a quick check that the event is real and the details are clear: the date, the place, the price and the image. It isn't a judgement of your event.
Once you've had a few events approved without problems, the team can make your account trusted, and your events then publish straight away. See Verified and trusted.
Drafts
A draft is saved but not sent. Nobody outside your account sees it.
- Save draft keeps your work. It's shown while your email isn't confirmed yet, and on a draft you haven't sent.
- A draft you haven't sent is marked Not sent for review in My Events. Open it and press Submit for review when it's ready.
Sending an event for review
When you submit a new event, it's saved and goes to the DO868 team. In My Events it's marked In review. It isn't on do868.com yet.
You can still change it while it's in review: your changes are saved to the event the team will see.
For a repeating event, the series is reviewed once. When the first date is approved, the other dates are created and published too.
What happens next
- Approved: the event is published on do868.com. If the reviewer left a note, it shows on the event's edit page.
- Not approved: the event stays off the site, and the edit page shows This event was not approved with the reason. Change what's needed and press Resubmit for review to send it again.
We email you either way. See Emails we send.
Changing a live event
If your events are reviewed, changes to a published event are reviewed too. The edit page says This event is live and the button is Submit changes for review.
- Your live listing stays exactly as it was until the changes are approved. The edit page shows the changes you sent, marked as waiting for review.
- If you send changes again before they're reviewed, the newer changes replace the earlier ones.
- If they're approved, they go live. If not, the edit page says Your last changes were not approved and the live listing is unchanged.
Line-up changes are never reviewed; they show as soon as you save.
Trusted organizers
Trusted organizers' new events are published as soon as they're submitted, and changes to live events apply straight away. Repeating events get all their dates at once. Nothing waits for review.
Your email must be confirmed
Until you've confirmed your email address, you can set up your page and save drafts, but you can't send events for review, publish, or change a live event. See Confirming your email.
