Featured spots

Featuring puts your event in the Featured section at the top of the DO868 home page, from the moment your payment is confirmed until the end you chose, and never past your event.

Featuring an event

1. Open Promote.
2. Under Event to feature, pick one of your published, upcoming events.
3. Choose how long. Only lengths that fit before your event are shown; featuring always ends when your event ends. The price of each is shown in TT$.
4. Pay by card, or by bank transfer or cash, whichever is offered.

You need to have confirmed your email.

A limited number of spots

Featured events take turns in a carousel at the top of the home page. Only a set number are featured at a time (our team sets it), so each one gets noticed. Promote shows how many spots are free, such as "2 of 8 featured spots free". When they're all taken, it says when the next one frees up. An event that's already featured can always be extended.

Now and then our team may feature one event on its own, for example as the only featured event for a weekend. While that runs, Promote says another event has the featured section to itself, and until when.

Your spot is held while you pay

When you choose how to pay, a spot is held for your event:

• Card: for about half an hour, while you pay on the secure checkout page. When you're back, it says the payment was received (it can take a minute to show) or cancelled (nothing was charged).
• Bank transfer or cash: for 48 hours, or until your event starts if that's sooner. Promote shows the amount, the deadline, the bank details and a reference starting with DO868. Quote the reference with your payment. We switch on your featuring as soon as we record your payment. If it isn't paid in time, the spot is released.

If someone else takes the last spot while you're choosing, you'll see a message saying all spots are taken, and when the next one frees up.

Order history

Every order is listed under Order history with its status: waiting for payment, featured until a date, ended, expired, cancelled and so on.
