Campaigns and billing
For sponsors: the advertising placements, requesting a campaign, invoices, paying, and your campaign numbers.
Campaigns and Billing are for sponsor accounts. Organizers who want more people to see an event can feature it instead.
To start a sponsorship, you can also email [email protected].
The placements
| Placement | Where it shows | Shared or one at a time |
|---|---|---|
| Home page top banner | Top of the home page, above Featured | Shared: a few adverts take turns |

| Category sponsorship | Top of one category page, with your logo | One per category |

In a shared spot, your advert takes turns with up to a few others, and each one counts as seen only when its own turn is on screen. Our team sets how many share each spot.
Exclusive: in a shared spot you can ask to be the only advert there for your dates. Choose Exclusive when you request the campaign; our team confirms availability (a spot that already has adverts on those dates can't become exclusive), and pricing for exclusive spots is still to be announced.
The sizes to send are in Advert images.
Requesting a campaign
- Open Campaigns, then Request a campaign.
- Choose where it should appear (and the category, for a category sponsorship), Shared or Exclusive for a shared spot, the start and end dates, and the link people should reach (starting with https://).
- Upload your banner or logo, add anything else we should know, and press Send request.
A campaign can start today or later and run for up to a year. Your email must be confirmed.
Our team reviews every request and gets in touch about availability and invoicing. Nothing goes live until it's approved. You can follow each request under Your requests; exclusive ones are marked Exclusive.
Approval and paying
When a request is approved, you get an invoice by email and in Billing. The spot is held for you while you pay, and the campaign starts showing once the invoice is paid. If it isn't paid by the deadline, the spot is released.
In Billing, open an invoice to see its items and payments. You can pay:
- by card with Pay now by card, when it's offered;
- by bank transfer or cash: the bank details are under Pay by bank transfer or cash. Quote the invoice number as the reference. We mark the invoice paid once we receive the payment; it can take a business day or two to show.
If you've paid and a campaign shows as lapsed, contact us.
Your campaign numbers
Campaigns shows each campaign's dates and status (scheduled, running, ended, awaiting payment and so on), with its impressions (times it was shown), clicks and CTR (clicks divided by impressions). For a date range, use Reports, Campaign Summary.
